Saab 9-5 Aeros really don’t get much better than this in my eyes, not only is this a beautifully specified Saab with its Smoke Beige Metallic paint, Sand leather interior and high levels of options including auto wipers, folding mirrors, factory sat nav and Harman Kardon stereo, but it’s a rare Hirsch conversion straight from factory.
Possibly one of only a handful of these Hirsch Aeros in the UK, this one’s an absolute treat for anyone who appreciates Saabs like I do, it’s been impeccably maintained throughout it’s life by reputable Saab specialists including a long stint with Abbott Racing, who also sold it to a local architect back in 2014.

Obviously along its journey things have been changed, the brakes have been upgraded again and now come fitted with new drilled and vented Tarox performance front discs and pads, and the original Hirsch ECU remap has been enhanced by Noob Tune to be a little more individual for this specific Saab.
Its last owner had it for 5 years, but due to poor health, remained stored in a heated garage for most of that time, possibly one of the reasons why this is so immaculate; rust free besides the smallest of areas on one rear wheel arch and almost unmarked paintwork.
As for driving, it’s one of the nicest I’ve ever owned, powerful, smooth and rattle free. The sumptuous Sand leather interior is a great place to be, even by modern standards, the seats are ridiculously comfortable, heated, electric and memory. These Aeros had a high specification back in 2005, but even now it feels generous, I’ve recently added a rare carbon dashboard including centre console, ashtray and gear surround. If you didn’t know better, you’d think this was an almost new car, the air con has also been cleaned and re-gassed and is ice cold when needed.
It’s had a thorough recent maintenance overhaul, the sump has been dropped and cleaned, new filters, oil and fluids, and is going to offer someone a super stylish and rather rare ride for very little money. The refurbished Hirsch 18” alloys also come with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres for complete peace of mind.
