This Signal Red Mercedes-Benz 300SL was first registered on 11th August 1989 to Gynwebb Ltd, before ownership transferred to a Mrs D, who owned the car until 2003. From there it was purchased from a Reg Vardy dealership by a Mrs B, another long term keeper who adored this car for 17 years.
For every year since 2010 it has attended Mercedes-Benz of Teeside for a visual health check and MOT, covering very few miles in the last decade. Maintenance records on file date back to 2003, with the history painting a picture of a well cared for, lightly used car that has always been driven consistently.
Recent works include all new discs and pads, brake fluid, subframe bushes, anti-roll bar bushes, timing case seal, oil filter and fuel filter, new bonnet pad, all new tyres, full wheel refurbishment, front and rear propshaft couplings and refreshed paintwork including the hardtop – more than £10, 000 has been spent to present this car in our showroom, much to the benefit of the next keeper.
