With the paper work supplied with our BMW 501 it appears it has been in theUK for near on 55 years . In 1990 it was purchased by its restorer who brought the 501 back to its former glory . The engine was rebuilt by renown specialists "TT Workshops LTD" in 1999/ 2000 and in 2002 the gearbox was rebuilt also by "TT Workshops LTD" (Supporting Invoices Supplied) . Today the 501 presents very well and a round trip of 50 miles was a rewarding drive . Easy gear change , Superb brakes , Cruise at 50 MPH , No overheating and the oil pressure maintained well .
