This lovely first generation SLK has had just one owner since new, covered just 52k miles all backed up by a full service history.
Supplied to its sole owner by Hughes of Beaconsfield in January 2001, this late R170 SLK is finished in Brilliant Silver with striking red and black leather interior. It’s equipped with climate control, cruise control, electric seats and a five-speed automatic gearbox behind its 2. 3-litre supercharged engine.
The car comes with all books and manuals, two keys and original bill of sale along with a full service history at Mercedes Beaconsfield and then one MB specialist. It was last serviced in August 2021 and garaged since new.
The bodywork is in excellent condition with no corrosion. The interior is superb with none of the usual damage to the plastic surfaces on the central console, key surround and door grab handles. The wheels are unmarked and the engine bay is very clean indeed.
On the road this SLK drives beautifully and feels fresh and tight in line with its low mileage and careful maintenance.
These first generation SLKs are, to our eyes, the prettiest of all the SLKs, they’re fun to drive and very reliable. We think they are incredible value for money for a good example right now.
