I’d started to write the advert for this van but I waffled on so much as it’s been on quite a journey through Europe a few times since I bought it, I deleted it all (Work related).
I’ve spent quite a bit upgrading it and it would take too much to explain in text so I thought best to keep it brief and then any serious people can give me a call and I can explain everything that way as I’m sure the photos will tell you that it’s in very good condition.
2. 4 6 cylinder petrol. Circa 25, 000 original and documented miles. Totally solid and rust free chassis. (Tiny bit of surface rust on body rubbed out) Bought from Oberschulte. com / FB Oberschulte Klassik Car in 2018, comes with folder full of all original paperwork and work I’ve had carried out. Before me it spent its life dry and warm stored in a south german fire department. Has always been cared for. Long story short is that I was working overseas subcontracting to a company who designs and builds recording studios. I bought the van after a job in Germany and then drove it home and registered it and then onto the next job in Girona where some work was carried out and had some journeys into Portugal, France Germany and the a Nederlands on the way home.
Only selling due to change in work circumstances.
The same dealer just sold an almost exact version of my van except it was a diesel for 15, 000 euros. He only deals in mint condition low mileage examples so I’m using that as a guide for my asking price.
I’ve spent quite a bit on upgrades and getting it here and registered so I’m asking for offers around 15, 000. I know it’s a mint one and I’ve had it confirmed by every single mechanic type person who’s seen it.
All it needs is a few hours and some small touch up paint on the body.
A solid, clean example, increasing in value and ready to convert into whatever you like. Lights and Sirens (very loud) fully working. Ladder rack removed from roof comes with the sale and can be easily reinstalled. Subtle Sony stereo installed (Bluetooth USB etc) JBL speakers fitted into acoustically treated housing made and fitted by the acoustic engineers at the studio build in Girona. Clean and loud sounding.
Recent new brakes pads and discs, 4 new tyres and a new original part exhaust pipe from vw classic parts in Germany. New battery installed in 2019.
MOT until End of December 2022, no advisories.
