The 9-3 Saab Monte Carlo 3 door coupe edition.
Rare —- Desirable—-Collectable.
Built in 1999 for 1 year only. Only a small number were produced rumoured to be less than 200 world wide with 40 going to Australia.
Very low mileage with service history and old tax discs. Dry stored for I believe 7 years.
It is fitted with the B204R T5 turbo engine with a manual gearbox.
It is a pleasure to drive, it is is smooth and responsive exactly as you would expect.
I think it was well ahead of its time in design and once inside you feel the Saab Quality of old.
The car is in exceptionally nice condition outside and inside where the leather interior is a treat.
I have had many Saab’s over the years from the saab 96 , 99, 900, 9-3. I loved everyone of them and in recent years I decided having retired I wanted to treat myself to a nice Saab but it had to be way above average.
I recently bought this from a true Saab enthusiast who in his ownership added some very nice upgrades to make it the car it is today.
I can supply a list of works completed to serious parties.
The car is fitted with the very rare and expensive Hirsch 18 inch alloys with all tyres matching.
It is a 22 year old Saab which is ready for its next owner either to buy as a investment. To show or simply use.
As soon as I saw this car I add to buy it, clearly that’s what I did and arranged storage.
All going well, I was delighted then a phone call telling me storage was no longer available.
I have tried to find alternative local storage without success and have made a genuinely hard to decision to let it go.
It deserves to be protected and to remain in its current condition.
I am on the coast and I can’t bring myself to leave it outside.
