It's easy to see why the 205 GTI is so popular as they have such a pure & visceral driving experience, much in the same way the original Mini does. This particular car puts a smile on your face from ear to ear every time you drive her as she is just sooo sweet

There are none of the unnecessary extras like driver aids, powers steering or air conditioning, it's just you and the car working together in harmony
Having said that the cabin is a very nice place to be, the original half leather sports bucket seats in this particular example are a lovely touch & give excellent support. Together with the cherry red over mats the interior pops & tells you she's ready and racey
The frisky little 1. 9litre engine pumps out a commendable 130bhp through the front wheels for adequate propulsion out of the corners, but the speed you can take in is what really amazes. For a car of her vintage she can really pick her skirt up and take silly speeds into tight corners on bumpy British B roads
