Only two owners from new. Last owner was a well-known Rolls Royce and Bentley dealer who purchased the car from Mercedes in 1999 at three years old. He kept the car until his death and passed into his wife’s ownership in 2020.
308, 998 miles from new. Much of which was covered driving between the UK and Portugal.
Full service history. Over 30 services recorded over two service books and a big folder of receipts. The car has evidently been very well looked after with no expense spared.
Engine rebuild in 2018 with bills.

As the photos show, the bodywork and interior are very tidy, particularly for the mileage.
The car drives beautifully – you would never know it has covered over 300k. Starts instantly and pulls very well. Gearbox changes nicely, silent differential. Lovely compliant suspension, no steering play and excellent brakes. Even the air conditioning works.
Obviously with its age, mileage and price point there will be further work required to maintain and improve.
In summary a very tidy, beautifully maintained diesel 124 estate that has been in the same hands since it was 3 years old. An ideal running, driving project for an enthusiast who wants one of these iconic cars.
