1935 Chrysler Airstream six
The Chrysler Airstream was built in the years between 1935 and 1936 and was a little luxury car for the selected few, as was the bigger Chrysler Imperial. A similar car was branded under the name Desoto. The Airstream was based on the Chrysler CO-Model and as the streamlined model named Airflow didn't sell enough, Chrysler decided to give it bigger fenders and a more aggressive look. Airstream was available with a Six cylinder
93 HK engine or a Eight cylinder Engine with 105 HK and either a Manual or an Automatic Gearbox. This car is the rare early 1935 SIx cylinder car with the manual transmission.

Description :
This early 1935 Chrysler Airstream 6 was on display in the showroom of the then general Chrysler importer Philipson's showroom in Stockholm Sweden during a period of 2 years. After being on display it then entered in the private collection of Mrs. Martha Philipson and remained there for a period of fifty years as one of her private Museum cars.
The car is completely original and has never been restored and stands today as a true time capsule of one of the most sought after Chryslers of the 1930s. The car has always been stored in a tempered Garage and has never been driven during the winter and is still to be seen in a stunning original condition. There is absolutely no rust, and the car still drives perfectly well after 8 decades being taken care of by a very passionate caretaker.
Finished in original dark blue paint with a biscuit interior and all original books back from 1935 still available. The car has just 60. 000 km on the speedometer and still drives perfectly well and is ready to be used as is or to become fully restored to show condition.
The car 1935 and has only been driven occasionally during a period of 83 years, and only been driven less than 850 per year to keep it in running order. it has one little stone ship on one fender and a little scar on the rear fender, otherwise the paint and the interior is in good condition”.
