In May 1986 Lancia presented the Thema 8. 32 known as "Thema Ferrari", the abbreviation 8. 32 was to indicate the number of cylinders and valves of its engine.
The engine delivers 215 HP derived from Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole, immediately making this model the most powerful front-wheel drive production car on the market.
The 8. 32 had a gorgeous interior for the time.
The interior is entirely covered in briar, the seats in Frau leather and / or Alcantara.
Some features were exclusive: the automatically retractable rear headrests, the driver-selectable electronic suspension with automatic or sports calibration, the dashboard made with analog instruments mounted on a real wood panel and Ferrari-style vents, up to the retractable rear wing in the trunk, which can be activated by rotating the wiper control lever.
Between the first and second series 3, 520 units were produced, of which 2 units of a special numbered series (Series II) in Ferrari Red color. The only Thema 8. 32 I Series in officially recognized Ferrari Red livery was owned by Abarth and used by Cesare Fiorio.
