“Collection by Vermant” is pleased to be able to offer you this truly exceptional Audi TT Quattro convertible. The car is equipped with a four cilinder, 1. 8L, petrol engine, developing a healthy 225 hp. This power is generated with the help of a turbocharger and a revolutionary 5 valves per cilinder. A 6 speed manual transmission sends the power through a Haldex differential, which then sends it to the 4 wheels. The car has been meticulously cared for and is in absolute concours condition.
The exterior of the car is finished in the beautiful shade Steppengrasgrün. This is a very vibrant, but dark metallic green colour. It accentuates the lines and exterior details of the car extremely well. The softtop was also specified in dark green to complement the dark paint of the car. When continueing on the exterior of the car, we can find the signature double chrome exhaust tips. Besides being aesthetically pleasing, the double tips also indicate that the car has the 225 hp engine. Also in the back, we can find the mandatory spoilerlip on the boot. This was placed due to a stability problem and subsequently a safety recall. In the early years of its life, the original rims of the car were replaced with ones from renowned Audi tuner ABT. These are the ones that are still present on the car today and are extremely rare.
When continuing on the inside, we find a beautiful black leather sportseats in almost new condition. This gives the interior a very warm and premium feel. To aid in the driver comfort, the first owner decided to tick almost every box on the options list. The car has the right mix of options, giving it a very contemporary feel. Options such as an upgraded radio, power steering, electronic stability control, airconditioning, electric windows, fully electric roof and even heated seats. These options are standard on most new cars, but were quite rare in the day. With these options present, the lack of comfort in comparison to a new car is minimal.
Despite the car being 22 years old, its first change of ownership didn’t occur till 2020. the car was sold by the first, German, owner to the second owner who lived in the Netherlands. the car then changed hands again in May 2021 to the final owner, who resided in Belgium. All 3 owners used the car very sparingly and only in excellent weather conditions. This makes that the car, to this day, is still in showroom condition. The paintwork of the car is in concours condition and completely original. Not only the paintwork of the car is impeccable, but also the underside and drivetrain. The previous owner had the car profesionally detailed and spared no expense on getting the car back in showroom condition.
In its 22 years of existence, this TT has only covered 35. 000 km. This mileage is documented with Audi through services and the service book, but also through the Car Pass system. Both give a solid assurance that the mileage is genuine. This TT is currently the lowest mileage TT Quattro available in Europe and possibly worldwide. In June 2020, the all important cambelt and waterpump change was done. With the service interval being 5 years, the cambelts are still good for another couple of years.
