1934 Morris 10/ 4 Two-Seater Tourer with Dickey Seat
The Morris Ten was introduced in 1932 and proved extremely successful in the burgeoning 10hp sector of the market. Available in saloon, four seat tourer and two-seater versions it was a well-equipped model with a specification that included hydraulic brakes.
This 1934 Two-Seater with Dickey Seat was purchased from the daughter of its original owner in 1985 and has had just four previous owners since new. Always known as ‘Maud’, this car is in very original condition and does not appear to have been fully restored, merely maintained well over the years.
Running well, she has been in the hands of a gentleman who was a volunteer at Nuffield Place and when taken there on a number of occasions, she always attracted much interest.
There is an original Instruction Manual, along with a green VE60 logbook and various bills and information from The Morris Register.
The hood and side screens are serviceable and this characterful Morris is in delightfully mellow condition, wearing her age with pride.
