Description
Launched in 1981, the MK2 version of the Scirocco offered more comfort and performance than its predecessor. Styling was typically 80's with crisp lines, moulded body kits and a stylish rubber spoiler splitting the rear window. Higher spec models got comfortable sports seats and alloy wheels.
This particular car wears its 35 years well. Finished in bright white with grey sports cloth upholstery it is a guaranteed head turner and attracts admiring comments wherever it goes. It is well equipped with alloy wheels and a steel tilt/ slide sunroof. There is an excellent history file with a well stamped service book. There is a documented cam belt change in May 2019 and the clutch is brand new. It has just passed its MOT after a new number plate light bulb! I was impressed with how the car drove, you really could use it every day!
These cars are now a rare sight on the road and represent excellent value compared to an equivalent MK1 or MK2 Golf.
