Description
Launched in 1997, the Mercedes CLK was the replacement for the long running E Class coupe. Based on the smaller C Class but with a higher specification than the E Class it was a stylish, upmarket, 4 seater.
This stunning CLK 230 Kompressor Automatic was registered on January 1st 2001 to Robinsons Mercedes of Norwich. They kept the car as a demonstrator until it was sold to a local gentleman in June 2001. He retrained and cherished the car until his death earlier this year. Having always been kept under cover there is no damage or fading to the interior or exterior of the car, it still smells and drives like a new car. It still wears its original number plates, window sticker and key rings.
The original build sheet for the car shows the following specification;
Obsidian black metallic
Grey Two Tone Leather
Cup Holder
5 Speed Automatic Tiptronic gearbox
Sport Chassis
Air Conditioning
7x16" Alloy Wheels
Birdseye Maple Trim
Audio 10 Radio/ CD
Heated Screen washer
Cruise Control
Trip Computer
Part Electric Seats
There is a full service history with the car. There is a fully stamped service book along with all invoices. It was serviced by the supplying Mercedes dealer at 6k, 8k and 8. 5k. After which it was serviced at the well known Stratton Motor Company at 10k, 12k, 12. 5k, 12. 9k, 13, 093 and 13, 099 miles.
With just 13, 269 miles on the clock this is surely one of the lowest mileage CLK's remaining. It is an absolute pleasure to drive and would make a perfect daily driver or weekend show car.
