A real ‘time warp’ example of the lovely MG TF. This car was purchased by the last keeper back in 1964 and we understand from this previous owner and from the records we have, that the mileage of 30, 000 is correct. The car has not been on the road since 1990s, but we have now finished a full professional re-commissioning of the vehicle and it is now ready for 'the off' with new MOT, and fully serviced. The re-commissioning has included brand new tyres, new brakes, recored radiator, full engine and lubrication service, fettling of charging system and many other items. It is still very original in specification including disc wheels. From the paperwork in the file, the car was obviously extensively refurbished in the 1980s, including mechanicals and reupholstery which is still in very good order today. We think the car was repainted at this time in its very attractive two-tone green colour scheme, with complimentary green interior. The underside of the car is clean and tidy and has, in fact, been Waxoyled at some stage. The bodywork appears to be excellent, with extremely well-fitting doors. All panels are good, and the fuel tank, which was replaced in the 1980s is good and clean inside. The paintwork in generally pretty good but with a few blemishes – all adding to the lovely patina. The black hood and side screens are all in good condition. Comes with a file of old historic invoices, V5C, continuation book from 1964, old workshop manual. This car represents excellent value for money - just have a look at the competition!
