Built-in June 1963 and delivered to its first owner by Porsche Kenilworth and California USA.
The Porsche factory build sheet identifies that the car retains its original factory Type 616/ 12 1600 S (Super) engine, producing an additional 15 BHP over the standard model to 75 horsepower.
Finished in the factory-correct Black over Red Leatherette interior, complemented with delightful headrests to add to that period look.
Spectacular restored condition
This rare and desirable Karmann bodied 1963 356B Super Coupe was one of only 2, 229 built in the final production year for the model variation.
On its importation to the UK an extensive restoration was undertaken with bills totalling over £40, 000.
Restored with several rare factory options including:
Ventilated Chrome Steel Wheels.
Hubcaps With Porsche Crest & Side Trim Strips.
Additional restorative/ calibration works to the dials and instruments as well as the electrical components and switchgear.
The engine, transmission, and associated components have been overhauled where required and the engine is supplied complete with full service at highly regarded Porsche specialist and full MOT certificate.
