EXTERIOR
This beautiful 1 owner S2000 presents in stunning condition and all of the paint is 100% original. Having always been garaged the bodywork is in excellent order with a deep lustful shine and only some minor imperfections in-line with the mileage to report, namely some light frontal light stone chips and a few small marks on the rear bumper. The windscreen and lights are all free from any chips or frosting with all the plastic and rubber trims perish-free and unfaded. The electric folding hood also works exactly as it should and is without from any damage or fading.
INTERIOR
You can really see the benefit of keeping a car garaged when you look at the interior of this example. The leather remains feeling soft to the touch with no fading or cracking, and other than some very slight creases to the driver’s bolster it all remains in perfect condition. The steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever all look in as-new condition with no scratches or wear. The dashboard, door cards and centre console are also immaculate, the only negative being a very small mark on the trim next to the roof button. All the carpets are pristine and still protected with the original S2000 overmats, and the boot area is spotless.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Opening the bonnet reveals an immaculately presented engine bay. Reading through the history file it’s clear that this example’s one and only keeper has maintained the car to a very high standard. Out on the open road this early S2000 feels extremely tight and very rewarding to drive.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
All the alloys are immaculate and free from any curb marks or damage to the paint, and they are all shod in a recent set of matching premium tyres. The brakes are in fine working condition and have recently been checked on the current MOT and inspection.
HISTORY FILE
In the careful hands of one owner from new this example has been maintained to an excellent standard. The original document pack remains with the car and includes all the owner’s manuals and service book. Whilst under the Honda manufacturer’s warranty the owner had the car serviced at the Honda main dealer; all of these Honda services are stamped in the book and backed up with invoices. After this the car was serviced at a couple of different local independents; each of the services are invoiced in the file and have been marked in the service book. There is also a raft of MOT certificates further confirming the car’s very low mileage. The V5C document is also in the file and shows 0 previous keepers.
