1956 Zundapp Bella R201 Scooter – Registration FYJ 249
Amazing unrestored and original paint Bella, probably one of the best preserved original examples in the UK (or Europe). Fantastic collectors and investment vehicle.
1251 genuine miles from new. Museum quality and is part of a private collection. Never used on the road in my ownership and still using the original tyres from 1956.
Comes with a set of 3 new tyres + 2 new tubes.
Full history from when sold new in Dundee in 1956.
Electric starter works well and engine runs. However will require some recommissioning if you want to use on the road.
Early model of Bella originally supplied by Ambassador Motor Cycles. Comes with original period rear carrier with full spare wheel.
Plus genuine period chrome ULMA front mudguard embellisher (not currently fitted) and chrome accessory legshield trims (1 side ULMA & 1 side homemade).
Comes with full history from new including;
a) Original UK buff RF 60 Registration Book with original one owner from new.
b) Current UK V5 log book in my name issued in 2014 retaining original registration FYJ 249
c) Original Guarantee from Ambassador Motor Cycles dated 1956 for this Bella to the original owner.
d) 2 x original letters from Ambassador Motor Cycles to the original owner regarding the purchase of this Bella.
e) Genuine original Zundapp Bella R151 and R201 operation and maintenance book in mint condition.
f) Genuine Zundapp Service Vehicle Suspension book from November 1956 in English and in reasonably good condition.
g) Genuine Zundapp Bella R203 Spare Parts List book from April 1957 in English and in very good condition.
h) Genuine Zundapp Bella R201 Spare Parts List book from June 1956 in English and in very good condition.
i) Genuine Zundapp Bella 200 and 201 Spare Parts Price List from June 1958 in English and in very good condition.
j) Original January 1955 issue of US Cycle magazine which features the Zundapp Bella which is in very good condition.
k) Plus various period adverts and photographs.
l) Plus 2014 MOT, dating certificate and paperwork associated with retaining the original registration FYJ 249 on the current V5.
