Someone is going to be delighted when they buy this little gem, only 450 hours from new, everything working correctly, full cab with heater, power steering, easy drive rev & go gears, fully road reg with log book and no VAT to pay. We have properly tried and tested this machine over the weekend and have no problems or issues to report.
Starts instantly every time, runs without fault, really good brakes and handbrake, agri tread tyres are like new with hardly any wear. At 24hp it’s just a bit more powerful than an old Grey Fergie but a good bit smaller, a lot more agile, much easier to drive and has selectable 4x4. We have had it mucking out, rolling fields and carting sheep hurdles about, it really is nimble and so easy to jump in and out of and drive about, there are high and low gear selections and then its just a press of the forward or backward hydrostatic drive pedal, effortless power steering, anyone can drive it, can’t be stalled and no clutch to worry about.
It has a full size standard PTO that works correctly and CAT 1 lift arms with both flow and return hydraulic connections you can run a log splitter, tipping trailer, powered top link and many more attachments. Its amazingly clean under the bonnet with a 3 cylinder diesel engine, the working clock has under 450 hours, which looking at the tactor we believe to be correct, its done no work, no signs of wear on the pedals or floor mats, we say under 450 as we are using it, it had 442 on when it arrived.
All the lights, indicators, wiper, beacon, heater, dash lights & clocks are working correctly, both doors click shut and lock, front and rear screens open on gas struts, either fully or on vent stays, we have both sets of keys. Just 2 owner from new, Northumbria Police owned it until 2017 and then been with a retired gent in the Lake District, we have the full current log book and printed off copies of the owner’s manual, a parts manual and a full manual for the Walter Mauser cab, plus it eve comes with engine and hydraulic oil and filters for its next service, current oil are clean and recent, so not due yet.
It’s a bit of “badge engineering” by Ransome’s as the tractor is exactly the same as the Japanese Shibaura ST324 HST so no issues with getting parts or spares. It’s registered as a “Mowing Machine” so free tax and no MOT required, first registered in Sep 2001.
We cant find anything to fault on this one, there are some bits of scabs here and there but you’ll have to look hard, the rear wings have been undersealed and the rear end and front axle have been touched up at some point.
This one has led a very charmed life, it drives like new and clearly always lived inside. Probably the best condition 24hp full cab compact available anywhere under £6k.
