Here is my one off Mk1 Polo, owned by me for last 5 years .. it’s spent 3 years at bodyshop in storage over pandemic and finally resprayed a few months ago.
It’s a whopping 895cc with a sports exhaust courtesy of previous owner, 0-60 in three days .. but gives more people time to admire it as you crawl by .. ;)
Body kit already in situ when I bought the car from a chap in Northern Ireland .. I’ve replaced the front wings and bonnet with ultra lightweight ones I bought on ebay as why not ? Huge front spotlights need rubbing down as slightly rusty .. I don’t have any paperwork except the v5 I can’t remember if any came with any paperwork and have moved house since .. I do have the original advert I bought it from which states the car has had engine overhaul . (see pics)
The car starts first time every time and runs and drives perfectly .. it has no mot and is eligible to be registered as a classic car , not requiring MOT or tax.. I haven’t got round to doing that but it’s a simple form or 2..
The interior is in great condition for the age of the car except for the back seat cushion where the material has somewhat disintegrated with age. The original running in sticker is still present in front windscreen for all you geeks like me out there this is particularly exciting for some unfathomable reason ..
The car is being sold as it stands all 4 tyres will need replacing as they are cracked and not roadworthy. The wheels have not been touched and could do with a respray

No silly questions time wasters / jokers . This is a rare car in good nick and I’m not particularly in a rush to sell.
I’ve owned every classic water cooled VW over the years been to shows abroad modified some enjoyed them all. I’m too long in the tooth to be messed around and won’t tolerate it. I’m a busy Mum .. yes not a bloke lol, please behave accordingly ..
