This super cute little Fiat 500 convertible has been our own car since 2017, it has been great fun but hardly used, only done 340 miles in last 12 months, it now needs some TLC and we are selling it as a project.
It is still MOT’d until 1st June, the road tax is just £30 a year, it has 75k miles on the clock and a part service history with 5 stamps, we have the log book in our name, both keys and a handful of old MOT’s, its HPI clear.
Last autumn we fitted a new battery, an expensive “Stop Start” battery, the correct one for the car, but after fitting the radio and heater fan / air con stopped working, don’t light up or anything. Everything else still works and it was still used.
Got it out again ready for some summer fun and the engine management light is on and it has a slight misfire, it starts easily and will drive about, ask to see the video. We have had a Snap On Ethos diagnostic plugged in that is showing a fuel injection fault on cylinder 4.
So its up for grabs to anyone that wants to fix it, no offers thanks, We Buy Any Car will give us £971 and that’s after we disclosed all the faults, so happy to drive it down to them if needed.
No you cant bring your Tandy diagnostics and plug it in, no your cant bring an adjustable spanner and some insulation tape and have fiddle before you buy it, no it probably will not be ok for the school run as it is and I know you won’t be able to stop yourself “Pal” but honest “Mate” I don’t want £500 cash, even if you come today.
Cheap and very cute fixer up, we’ve had a lot of fun with I but don’t have the knowledge to sort it out, if you fancy a go your only risking £200, We buy Any Car will bale you out if needed, first to pay owns it.
