I'm selling my 1991 Mercedes 230TE. Finished in Silver with contrasting blue cloth interior trim, the car has covered 155, 000 miles (will rise as in daily use) and has MOT until April 2023.

The car is very presentable with straight bodywork, good even panel gaps and shiny, presentable paintwork- obviously there are scars and signs of age, but all in all, its a tidy, presentable car- the wings and arches are very good for a daily driven W124 and the inner wings still proudly wear their original silver paint.
The 2. 3 litre, 4 cylinder engine is a solid, reliable performer that should go on for years to come, while delivering sensible mpg if driven correctly. The 4 speed autobox shifts well and does what it need to do without complaint. The differential is quiet and smooth- the quietest W124 diff I've experienced for a while!
Inside is a great place to be.... it is generally nice, but has some wear to the drivers seat as usual. The electric windows all work smoothly and without strain, as does the massive electric sunroof. The steering wheel is a leather Sportline wheel that has been recently retrimmed to a high standard- it really adds to the premium feel of the car. Obviously the load area is big enough to fit almost anything you can think of in- its massive! Again, the boot carpet and panels are in good shape.
The driving experience is as you would expect from an S124- it rides very smoothly and quietly and even going down the shops feels like an event. I would love to hang on to this car, but I have a couple of other classics and I'm buying a house, so something has to go.... my loss is your gain, so come and have a look- I think you'll like it!
