VW Golf MK1 GTI Cabriolet 1990 (fully restored)
Here we have for sale VW Golf mk1 GTi cabriolet 1990 in like new condition immaculate in and out, gone through nut and bolt restoration. No rust no dents and no marks. The restoration consist of the following:
All rusted parts cutout and new genuine metal work welded back on by provisional welder, windows, trims, wiring looms removed and vehicle had full bear metal spray job done by Barney And Sands who are well known for their superior panel repairs and paint at the cost of £4500.
Under arches and underbody was stone guarded.
* Rear of vehicle: Brake pipes were replaced with new, rear main beam bushes were replaced with polyethene bushes, fuel tank neck and filler cap were replaced with new parts.
* Front of vehicle: new wishbones, new anti roll bushes, anti roll bar treated and painted.
* Roof was replaced with new one at the cost of £800
* BBS wheels were refurbed (powder coated) and dressed in brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 195/ 50/ 15
* New NOS Headlight with genuine front grilled sourced in very good condition.
* Engine: had cylinder head off stripped and rebuilt, new head gasket and bolts installed. full service.
* Interior: All seats were retreated by leather specialist, door cards and floor carpet new from Germany.

A lot of love, passion and care was put into this car but sadly and with heart ache I have to let go of my joy, its an absolute beauty and an old iconic that will never be out of fashion. drives like new with no issues what's so ever.
