Excellent example of a low mileage (97k) UK car, this is a limited edition 1 of only 500 model made between May-Sept 1997. With the more powerful 130hp 1. 8 engine, body colour is Silver, with new special 15inch Wolf Race sports alloy wheels. Interior trim feels luxurious with burgundy leather seats and Momo leather steering wheel. Full 12-month MOT till June 2023, mechanically 100% with no advisories plus service history documentation.
There is no corrosion on the underside, arches or sills. The car drives superb, with smooth gear changes and the sports exhaust has a great sound. The engine bay is entirely original which is rare to find. Complete with original toolkit, spare wheel and jack all present. The car comes with fully stamped Mazda dealer service history from initial 10 years of ownership, followed by detailed records and receipts for regular servicing and maintenance since. Original owner’s manual also included.
Interior includes genuine MX5 floor mats and chrome cockpit interior brace behind the seats. Standard equipment with the car was an immobiliser (with 2 keys and fobs), power steering, high-level stop lamp and Harvard wing badges. The soft top has been replaced and is in very good condition with a wind deflector also included. Orginal black leather tonneau cover for the soft top roof when it is folded down is also included with the sale.
