Superb collector-quality Honda S2000 in moonrock grey.
Registered April 2005. Only 24k miles from new with full service history. Steadily increasing in value now in this condition.
In my opinion the car is the sweet spot of the range, being a AP2 facelift model but in the low tax bracket. The vast majority of AP2 cars sit in the £615 bracket.
Absolutely no rust, no bubbling paint. The paintwork is superb and has been ceramic coated to keep it that way. I believe the paint is all original. There is very little in the way of stone chips, commensurate with careful use and low mileage. No discolouration of light lenses. Roof is original and is superb condition.
The underside is in remarkable condition. It has no underseal other than what came from the factory. It has been regularly cleaned and sprayed with clear anti-corrosion wax.
All wheels are in excellent condition - no kerb damage. Tyres have just been replaced with Goodyear Eagle asymmetric all round. They have done only 250 miles.
Interior in as-new condition. No scuffs to leather.
New front brake discs and pads (Brembo) just fitted 50 miles ago. The timing chain tensioner was replaced recently, as a precautionary measure rather than because of a failure.
The car has no modifications, other than a gearknob similar to the early AP1 (original present) and a bluetooth A2DP music streaming and telephony module which plugs in to the rear of the original stereo.
The car has MOT until September. On receipt of a deposit I will arrange a new MOT. Despite being 17 years old, the car has never had a single MOT advisory or fail. The private registration will be retained on agreed sale and the car will revert to a 05 plate.
I have a small collection of classic and interesting cars that I am reducing due to redevelopment of my storage. The car has been living in a Carcoon in a barn.
The car is available to view near to Dundee, Scotland. I would rather folk came to see the car in person - it is the only way to appreciate the condition in my opinion. I am happy to collect from Dundee airport or railway station. I do have a trusted associate who could deliver the car UK wide at favourable cost. Should you wish to go down that route the car would have to be paid for in full before leaving here, and the delivery driver paid separately.
