1974 Stutz Blackhawk 455, 7. 5 Litre Automatic in gleaming white.
When new, the Stutz Blackhawk was a leading contender for the world's most expensive car.
The mileage showing is 14, 000, which we have no reason to believe is incorrect.
We originally saw the car in 1993 when it had been in long term storage.
The verbal history passed down is that it belonged to a far Eastern prince who used it in the London area and when returning home then sold it on to a racehorse owner who subsequently died. In the 1980s his wife put the Stutz into long term storage.
Elvis Presley's favourite car was the Stutz Blackhawk and it was the last car he drove. Other famous owners include Mohammed Ali, Sammy Davies, Dean Martin, Johnny Cash and the Shah of Iran. Most of these cars reside in Eastern collections today.
Further information can be found on the internet about these very special cars which are an ultimate arrival. This Stutz has been in our private collection since 2007 and absolutely sparkles and has amazing street presence.
