Description
ALONG with the Mark 2 Jaguar, probably one of the most iconic sports saloons to come out of the 1960s. This is my 1966 Daimler V8 250 and she is delightful condition. She comes with a detailed history file which includes, amongst so much else, details and photos of a complete strip down and re-paint around 2008. Everything out. Glass, the lot. She has survived that attention very well indeed during the ensuing years and is a very pretty car. Only the odd paint blemish here and there crops up, none of which detracts from her overall beauty in my opinion.
A lovely smooth driver, she has recently had both heads removed and skimmed. Her interior is just as attractive as her exterior with beautiful golden woodwork taking pride of place. Her front seats are Jaguar XJ6 and blend in really well with the rear seat. Their electrics are wired up too.
I would say that you would struggle to find a better V8 than this in the sub-10k marketplace.
Yet again, another of my bargain buys. Always feel free to check out the prices of my makes and models elsewhere in the UK. I operate with small profit margins and high sales figures. Also, having been established for 20 years, I pride myself on being one of the best classic car finders in the game!
My classic cars are motoring antiques. Please do not confuse them with your one-year-old Range Rover. This car, for example, is 56-years-old and so will have quirks and faults in there somewhere. These are not always apparent when buying and selling classics which is what I do. I do not restore them, nor do I pretend that they are concours cars. The majority of them go out as they came in, and I continue to enjoy finding more - a skill which is becoming increasingly difficult as many of you will be aware. They deserve to be taken on as "family pets" and cared for through thick and then. They don't make them any more and demand now out-strips supply. Please bear all this in mind, and enjoy your classic car. I can also assist with delivery and so please ask for a quote. Thanks, Martin. the details below.
