Description
This car formed part of the Dobson family’s private collection. The family operated one of Lakeland’s best-known Jaguar dealerships, taking over the franchise following the closure of Dutton Forshaw. Their collection was assembled during the 1970s and 1980s and, unsurprisingly, consisted largely of Jaguars. The vehicles were stored in the family’s substantial home garage and periodically displayed as showpieces in their dealerships.

Fabulous recommissioning opportunity
Condition:
Recently removed from long-term storage. We have had it starting very briefly and now presents as a fantastic recommissioning opportunity. There is no resistance to the brake pedal.
The exterior presents well from a distance, but closer inspection reveals some imperfections to the body. The brightwork still retains a nice level of shine. The interior is generally presentable, with the most noticeable fault being a rip to the drivers seatback.
Please read our terms and conditions below.
Please note: we do not have access to ramps so we are unable to provide comments or photographs of the underside of any vehicle — but viewings are always welcome.
We invite any serious potential buyer to contact us to arrange a viewing.

You accept and understand that using this vehicle on the roads in GB would be unlawful in its current condition, and that it will not be used on the roads in GB until it has been put into a lawful condition.
For the reasons mentioned above, all vehicles bought must be trailered away. We can assist all buyers with this request via a very well-trusted third-party company we use on a regular basis.
All vehicles remain the property of the seller until paid for in full.
Storage
Any vehicles purchased from us are eligible for 7 days free storage, additional storage is charged at a rate of £25 per day.
Returns Policy
All vehicles bought from a distance from any trade seller will qualify for a 14-day cancellation policy. All vehicles will be classed as trade sales unless clearly stated within the description above. From the total reimbursement amount will be deducted the £500 non-refundable holding deposit (to cover reasonably incurred costs and losses) and furthermore, a reasonable figure for any diminishment in the value. The buyer is responsible for the return cost and all damage whilst in their possession.
If the sale is concluded on our premises, then the 14-day cancellation policy does not apply.
