Beschreibung
Lot number 1113
1943 Ford Jeep, registration number TMO 872, with V5c listing the date of first registration as 23/ 10/ 1959, the chassis number quoted dates it to circa September 1943. Purchased by the vendor, a lifelong Jeep and Landrover enthusiast, around 30 years ago and much enjoyed at shows over the years. He produced a set of body panels in plywood and aluminum which enable the Jeep to be converted into a replica of the original centre steer prototype Land Rover, including a windscreen made by Fred Dibnah, these hang on the Jeep and as such either the Jeep or centre steer could be enjoyed by the purchaser. The Jeep is an original wartime jeep which doesn't appear a large project for the purchaser, the vendor is willing to pass on his research and knowledge relating to either the Jeep or Landrover centre steer project.
