Descrizione
Having been owned by it's former owner since 1965, the time has now come to reluctantly pass it on to a new caring custodian.
This Roadster was built in the last year of production and is fitted with the 2088cc four cylinder wet liner engine as used in the Standard Vanguard and Triumph TR series up to the TR4a. Power then runs through a 3sp gearbox with column gear change.
The major part of the body is of an alloy skin over an ash wooden frame with steel front wings and is interestingly the last production vehicle to be fitted with a pair of dicky seats in the boot area. Finished in a gold metallic paint with contrasting tan leather interior and beige hood the car has a very striking, classy appearance.
The car was bought by its last owner for £25 in 1965 and was used as the family's everyday car for many years and has always been lovingly cared for throughout their ownership. The car is presented in very good condition, is a joy to drive and comes with a large history file.
This Roadster is not a concourse queen but is in very good condition and is an excellent usable, driving car that will give many years of happy classic car motoring to the next owner and is not your normal classic but a car with character and a little different from the rest of the crowd.
We have recently been instructed by the owner to reduce the price down quite dramatically in order to promote a quick sale. The Roadster is now being sold in an "as seen" condition with no warrantee given or implied so any interested parties must please give the car a careful look over prior to purchase in order to avoid any disappointment or misunderstanding
