Vehicle History:
Zagato produced very few cars at its Rho plant near Milano in Italy in the 1990s. Only four models were built: the Maserati Biturbo Spider, the Aston Matin Volante Zagato, the Alfa Romeo ES 30 Zagato and the Autec Stelvio Zagato. An elaborate small-batch production, mainly an aluminum construction with carbon components. In every respect the Stelvio was innovative. The mirrors were recessed into hoods in the fenders, the brake vents were recessed into the wheel covers, and there was a continuous light strip at the rear as usually seen on Porsche. Produced only 104 times in total, the AUTEC Stelvio Zagato is a rarity today and an example of the innovative power and creativity of the Italian design forge.
This car, like all Stelvio Zagato models, was first delivered to Japan. In 2016, an Englishman bought this Stelvio and drove the registered car for 2 years. Since 2018, the car is in Belgian ownership and part of a small collection. The car is exceptionally original and an asset to any collection.
