Supplied new in July 2005 by Tiley Bristol Ltd, this rather attractive and rare Limited Edition Impreza comes in the desirable ‘WRX Prodrive 300’ guise. This means, it is one of just 300 produced, finished in World Rally Blue and features the Prodrive engine performance upgrade, RAC Trackstar tracker, WRX 300 badging, exclusive 17” Gold alloy wheels, Bespoke aluminium gear knob, WRX 300 branded carpets, Subaru World rally team logo embossed seats and front lamp covers.
The specification also includes automatic air conditioning, rear LSD, speed sensitive power steering, aluminium bonnet, red brake callipers, colour coded rear spoiler, heated electric door mirrors, aluminium pedals, front cup holders, leather handbrake lever, leather Momo steering wheel, tinted electric windows and radio/ CD player.
Under the bonnet, the standard WRX 2. 0 litre EJ20 engine produces 261bhp and a whopping 348NM of torque driving all-four wheels via five-speed manual transmission giving a 0-62mph time of just 5. 9 seconds and a top speed of 144mph.
The car presents beautifully, having been cherished by the vendor and shows 101, 794 miles, supported by the vehicle’s history file which includes the V5C revealing four former keepers, the owner’s pack and service book recording 13 service stamps plus a further two stamps for body services. In addition, the file includes a second service booklet with a further four service stamps, the last in February 2022 at 101, 026 miles. One of these stamps, in April 2019 at 92, 698 miles also records fitment of a set of Tein lowering springs and KYB shock absorbers in addition to the service work (inc. gearbox and diff oils).
