One former keeper from new, then myself from 2017, have all MOTs and quite a lot of history.
Rare estate body, starts and drives fine, auto gearbox does what it should and brakes etc all OK, clean mot history.
Has all the Ultima spec bells and whistles with front electric seats, electric mirrors, 4 electric windows, leather interior, latest 3 headrest back seat with lap & diagonal belt NOT single strap as on older cars, rear screen wash wipe & heated screens front and rear. Fitted with the Ford 7000 series radio to take one cassette or can be used with the 6 CD multichanger found in the rear. Sunroof not tested as I’ve never used it.
With the interior, carpets and seats all is well, rear load area folds flat for larger items (never had a dog in it), and matching 12 spoke alloy spare wheel with a full-size tyre fitted (not space saver). Aircon needs a re-gas, and the radio has an intermittent display but works OK.
A good car and an excellent basis for showing, small amount of bubbling to passenger wheel arch but it is 25 years old now. She does need a few things to finish, including temperature sensor (common on these-car does not lose water). Passenger mirror should dip down when reverse is selected but currently doesn’t. The headlining has sagged to rear area (again common fault), load area light missing as came broken but have correct one to go with car. There is a small damage to rear passenger corner can add photo if needed.
Reliable starter, kept on a solar trickle charger as not used a lot, drives as it should but needs a new home, one of the last made in May 1998 with the darkened headlights and facelift front grill and bumper.
