We are very pleased to offer for sale this excellent, and now quite rare, 1500cc version of the highly desirable MG TF. The car has an interesting history in that it would appear to have had only three owners, and seems to have spent much of its life between two of these owners, living in the same street. The car was extensively restored, bodily, mechanically, and internally during the early to mid-2010s, and remains in very good condition indeed. There is a full photographic record of the detailed restoration works and some paperwork including old invoices, original handbook and of course, V5C. Bodily, the car is very good, with well-fitting doors, good paintwork with only a few imperfections. The chrome work, although not all brand new, is mainly very good including the original wheel hub caps. The car benefits from a high quality re-trim throughout, including leather-faced seats, all as new. The hood is double duck canvas as are the side screens, all again, in very good condition. Mechanically, there are no issues – the car runs along with very good performance, nice quiet suspension, quiet gearbox and back axle. These 1500 cars go very well indeed. The engine is lively, with good oil pressure and no overheating. The wheels are excellent and are fitted with nearly new matching tyres all round, the underside of the car is in very good condition, good and clean and painted black, shiny copper brake pipes etc. – all just as you would want. An excellent all round car, just ready to go.
