This June 1997 example is in fantastic condition throughout. A low owner car, showing only 1 former keeper. Its been in the ownership of 1 owner for 99% of its life, first as a company car, then purchased for their own private use. Currently owned and sourced by a BMW collector, this lovely car is now with us at OCC for you to purchase.
Finished in Calypso Red Metallic, the paintwork is in immaculate condition throughout. Look closer, no noticable dings or dents, just an amazing, deep all over shine. The ‘throwing star’ alloys are all fresh from a refurb, so present perfectly. Look a bit closer, all the rubber trim, front and rear sport bumpers, all in excellent condition.
Inside, the Grey extended leather interior is just superb. Look at the many pictures and videos on our website, its in fantastic condition. Look at the headlining, door cards, dash, carpets, all just as nice.
I had the pleasure of test driving this 840 over the last few days. Its such a delight to drive, very tight and responsive, suspension feels just right. The 4. 4 V8 engine performs as it should , very responsive, gearbox changing as it should, even quicker in Sport mode. The service history is excellent. We have a fully stamped service book along with a folder full of old service receipts and old MOT’s, all the original manuals, full toolkit etc.
The car has just been cleaned and re protected underneath, using clear Waxoil, so it presents just as well underneath ….
