Here we have our truly wonderful 1962 rocket ship styled T’bird !
An interesting vehicle to say the least boasting various custom finishing touches including wide rim chrome wheels, custom steel bonnet scoop and being completely de-badged throughout.
This car started its life in a rust free state in the USA and remained with its 1st and only owner there before he passed away and the car was sold and shipped to a dealer in the UK in 2015.
Upon arrival to the UK the car was then recommissioned including the fitment of an electronic ignition system, front disc brake conversion, Holley carb and performance inlet manifold and Edlebrock rocker covers. It was sold to it’s only owner in the UK before we bought it.
The car retains its original 390cui 6. 4L D
FE Ford V8 engine producing 300BHP from the factory which is silky smooth with the power being delivered through its faultless 3 speedo cruise-o-matic transmission.
The interior is completely factory original which is completely intact other than some minor cracks on the dash and if will be supplied with a period DAB and Bluetooth ready stereo fitted too.
A totally genuine rust free piece of Americana ready to be enjoyed for years to come !
