Austin Mini Cooper Mk1 originally registered in May 1966.
Fast road, sprint and hillclimb ready.
Only for sale due to possible Cortina Lotus purchase.
Reshelled a few years ago & body remains in excellent condition having never had any welding apart from some tiny tidying work when we removed rallyseat subframes. Nice level of patina with Mk1 rear lights fitted as seen in the pics.
Spec wise it 's a 1293cc which runs really well with strong Oil pressure
1. 75" Single SU and Janspeed Inlet manifold.
Kent 276 cam and RC40 twin box exhaust with LCB.
Aldon Automotive electronic ignition.
S/ C C/ R box which is a delight to use and sounds great!
"S" brakes with super minifins on rear.
Suspension is fully set up with Spax all round, Hi Lo's, rose jointed front arms and adjustable camber plates at the rear.
Did have bucket seats fitted but was struggling to get in, and more particularly out, so they were replaced with the seats in the pics which are a massive improvement.
Tax & MOT exempt but just MOT'd anyway as good practice with no advisories. MOT tester said it's amongst the very best he's ever seen!
