Beschreibung
Another superb example restored by our local MGC specialist to a very high standard throughout.
Developed from the MGB as a successor to the Healey 3000, the MGC was launched in 1967 in Roadster and GT forms with a 3 litre straight six, front suspension changes and a bonnet bulge. Over 9, 000 cars were produced in two years until the model was discontinued in 1969 with a high proportion going to the USA.
This car is one of those, an ex-Texas vehicle where the climate is much kinder to older cars and hence the shell remains largely original but has been stripped and every item either replaced or reconditioned.
Very different to drive, when compared to an MGB, the MGC offers a more refined driving experience and with cruise happily at motorway speeds feeling composed and relaxed.
The engine bay on this car is superb with astonishing attention to detail and overall the car gives the impression of being in near new condition.
