Made in Munich West Germany.
6v Electrics and no auto oil mix CDI ignition. Koni shocks , Grimeca brakes as standard . Kick start . Marzocchi forks
The bike has seen very little use being stored for most of its life in a garage .
The silencer, rear mudguard / stays were rechromed and paint redone by a top Scottish paint shop. The wheels, centrestand rearbrake footrests etc were powder coated. New bearings installed in the wheels. Front Brake cylinder overhauled. The engine was removed from the frame and new crankseals and crank outer bearings replaced.
This is like a time capsule bike and is very original indeed. Engine runs strong for a single cylinder two stroke (watercooled).
The Zundapp was quiet rare in UK having to compete with a strong Japanese contingent at the the time. they do have a strong following on the Continent with spares readily available in Netherlands and Germany
UK registered , V5 in my name . Historic vehicle .
