Introduced in 1936, the ‘Magnificent’ replaced the previous Minx model and introduced more rounded coachwork, stiffened chassis and more cabin room afforded by moving the engine forward.
Powered by an 1185cc sidevalve engine mated to a 4 speed synchromesh gearbox. These are easy to drive and spacious cars with supple suspension.
This example runs and drives well. The body work is showing its age and could be improved or kept as is and enjoyed as a patinated example.
