1973 VAUXHALL VICTOR 2300 SL
Just arrived today is this very rare 70’s Victor. I’m unsure of the precise numbers but a quick search finds no cars currently for sale of this or similar model years nor have any sold in the last few years at specialist auctions, I’m sure further research will inform the specific amount still left on UK roads.
This particular example shows just 4 former keepers and 23000 miles from new although we can no warrant this due to the age of the vehicle although it presents very genuinely.
The interior trim is very good overall condition , there is a small tear to the top of the passenger seat but other than that just wants a good clean overall , it has had replacement carpets fitted at some point over the years also.
There has clearly been a fair amount of work done over the years to a reasonable standard, the front and rear wings have both been replaced and the whole car repainted . The rubbers around the screens and other areas are aged and have started to perish and there are splits in the lower rear valance edges which have corrosion behind them along with some localised bubbling to 2 of the door bottoms.
The car runs, drives and stops and the gearbox and cutch are especially nice . At the advertised price we have allowed for a full service including new spark plugs, leads , distributor cap and all replacement filters .
