The TR6 was launched in late 1968. It replaced the TR5 which it shared many of the same elements.
With a more modern look, designed by Karman, it was mainly aimed for the American market, 90% of the sales.
This car was powered by a 2. 5l 6-cylinder engine which developed from 105 to 120hp depending on the version.
This TR6 was imported from Canada in 2018 where the owner spent nearly 5000 euros in the restoration.
It has only had one owner in France. He spent 7000 Euros to complete this restoration.
A file of invoices for the work done in Canada and in France is in our possession.
The combination of the plum colour with the black interior makes it very attractive and its "big" 15 inches wheels give it a sporty look.
The driving is easy and pleasant, the gears go without cracking, the 105 hp of the engine will delight you in this convertible which weighs only 1100 Kilos.
