We are delighted to present for sale this JB 4×4 Special “Adventure” Edition – complete with Ashcroft Automatic Gearbox.
Externally, this 90 has an incredible spec list – finished in Phoenix Orange with black boost alloys, rocksliders, LED lights front and rear with daytime running lights, rear mudflaps and adventure grill and decals. We think the culmination of all these items makes for a stunning look and the pictures speak for themselves!
On the inside, there are a pair of front XS seats, with central cubby box and deluxe matting to the footwells. The Ashcroft Conversion is beautifully manufactured to a high specification and looks as though it was factory fitted, rather than some automatic modifications which are somewhat homemade. In the rear, a pair of forward facing rear seats have been fitted, complete with seat belts – this is a great addition as this now means car seats can be used for smaller children, whilst they also fold away to give access to the full load area when not in use. The sliding windows are tinted for privacy, which is a nice touch too. A bulkhead removal bar has also been fitted to maximise interior space for all occupants, front and rear. A stereo and speakers has also been fitted with bluetooth capabilities and handsfree calling.
Where this 90 stands apart is in both its usability and its drivability – first off, central locking has been fitted for ease of use, which is a nice touch. Electric windows have been fitted too, which helps at the drive-through! Once you are on the move, not only is this a light and airy vehicle which can carry the whole family, but the automatic gearbox makes for a much easier driving experience, without a heavy clutch. We have sold one of these vehicles before and we contacted Ashcroft Transmissions to gain more information about these conversions, and are informed that they are firstly not currently in stock, have a 3 month wait time, and the fitted cost is over £12, 000 including VAT.
In summary, if you are looking for a high-specification 90 that is easy to drive and to live with, with striking looks, then this could be for you.
