1963 Volkswagen Type 2 Double Cab Transporter
This 1963 Volkswagen Double Cab has just come out of single family ownership. A complete restoration was performed on the vehicle in 2008. Comes with a VW four cylinder engine and a manual four speed gearbox. The car runs and drives great. Converted from six volt to twelve volt and has an electronic ignition. Upgraded brake master cylinder. Drum brakes on the front and rear. Original wheels with hubcaps. White exterior with a Gray and White interior.
The interior of the vehicle is complete and in excellent condition. Has the original Speedometer and fuel gauge. Both gauges are in working order. A aftermarket radio was installed and speakers are under the rear seat. Original front and rear seats which have been retrimmed. Steering wheel is the original and was refurbished. All the lights work. Clean California title and is currently registered. Fantastic vehicle that would be a great addition to any collection.
