With a letter from the second owner in 1959 addressed to the third owner referring to the first owner, Mr J Watkins, noting 'The vehicle was purchased new by Atkins - a retired bank manager - on its first or an early outing his wife had a heart attack and died in the car. He did not wish to use it after this...'
