VW Golf GTi Mk1, Very original old car, which is on the button ready to use. The car goes really well and is surprisingly quick. We have the current V5 here. There are receipts for recent work that was done by the last owner. Wheels are brand new. Will come with a years MOT.
Body - MK1 Golf GTI 2 Door shell. Looks very original. Solid underneath only ever having had minor repairs done over the years. Body is very straight. Paintwork looks fairly original and is decent. Few minor age related marks on it and a bit of bubbling under windscreen rubber at bottom. Overall a very solid presentable example but not a show winner
Mechanics - Good engine, pulls like a train, gearbox is a little noisy in lower gears, clutch and brakes are fine. Car has done 247000 miles over the years but appears to have been well maintained. Uprated springs and shocks fitted.. In 2020 it had the following work done during Vovid. Fix exhaust and fit new flexi pipe, new brake calipers, new wheel bearing, new wheelbolt and locking nut kit, replace nearside driveshaft, new plugs, leads, oil and air filters, new heater blower, new seat runners,
Interior - Standard and original and in good order. No unsightly rips or tears. Bit of wear on drivers seat piping.
Wheels - New BBS rims with new 185 / 45 / 15 tyres
