Direct from a local shooting estate, this has only been out the shed on shoots to ferry the gentry about and has an incredible 564 hours on the clock, everything working as it should, we drove this one back towing a topper, it drives like new.
The Mule 4x4 “TRANS” can be a 2 row of seats people carrier with a shorter load bed or a standard single row seat with an extra-long load bed, thanks to a very smartly designed folding rear seat system, two machines in one, no tools required, nothing to leave behind it all stays onboard. Look closely at the pics, some are 1 row, others 2 row, takes less than 2 mins to transform.
3 cylinder 24hp 950cc diesel engine, starts runs and drives exactly as it should, simple to drive rev & go fully automatic with hi / lo ratios, it has selectable 4x4 / 4x2 with an additional diff lock. All the indicators, side, head and main beam lights are working, horn and wiper work, brakes and handbrake spot on. It has super lite to turn power steering and really good heater fitted, glass front screen, solid roof and flexi back screen with floppy doors, standard 50mm tow hitch with 7 pin electrics. Two glove boxes and two cup holders in the dash and a pair of excellent side mirrors.
Always lived inside, only used annually in the short shooting season hence the very low mileage of 4143 and just 564 hours, find another with such little use. First registered Sep 2012 we have the full logbook, its an “Agri Machine” free tax and no MOT required, no rips cracks or damage to the seats, original “Mule” floor mat and plastic rear load liner and manual tipping rear load bed.
Whilst very little used its not new, has expected marks with use, the floppy doors need the zips fiddling with and one has a repair, but they are all there. The front work lights not working, one has a wire out, we will have a fiddle and the beacon is spinning but needs a bulb.
Let’s put aside its adaptable seating for a second and look at just the fact it’s a 2012 Mule with mega low hours, logbook, p/ steering and a heater for under £7k, then add in taking the kids along safely during the summer holidays, wow, some machine for the money.
