Originally registered by Land Rover on 22/ 05/ 1997 it was then purchased by its only private owner on the 30/ 06/ 1999 he was a Land Rover enthuasiast who had several example of the marque and kept this vehicle under a car port using it sparingly over the next 20 plus years. The leather interior is in superb condition as to be expected for such low mileage, headlining is sagging with evidence of the water ingress from the sunroofs a common problem on this model, Structurally she seems sound but there will be some welding needed on one of the arches and the body work does have laquer crazing on the bonnet and roof, there is some blistering in various places elsewhere and whilst we have tried to photograph all thses areas it is not an exhaustive list. She starts and drives well has some service history and both keys. Obviously sold as a full restoration with no warranty implied or given and if you are not in the trade you must have the vehicle professionally inspeced to satisfy yourself it is as described, but with just 16, 500 miles from new it is a very worthwhile project as these early examples are becoming rare, very sought after and worth considerably more finished.
