Suzuki GT750L 20, 450 miles. I have owned this bike eight years, purchased as US import from D & K Motorcycles, UK registered historic, Bike is a 1974 L model , quite rare in the UK, these had the J, K engine tune and more chrome than any other model but benefited from the new CV carbs .
I have sympathetically refreshed the cosmetics of the bike, paintwork, seat, some new chrome etc, large areas of the bike remain original, frame and engine needed nothing, carbs have been rebuilt with new inlet and airbox rubbers, rims and tin ware are in excellent shape, new Avon tyres and tubes, new chain, all brakes rebuilt. I have covered just under 800 miles in eight years on the bike and it has proved totally reliable.
The bike is fitted with nice high US bars which suit me fine and period Japanese made J & R expansion chambers which are much lighter than standard and not much louder, certainly not offensive.
