BMW R60/ 2 in Avus Black w. white pinstripes. Triple matching numbers and Bing carburetors correctly numbered in sequence. 1969 is the last year of production for the R60/ 2.
This particular BMW has one very long term owner who has used the bike for journeys around Scandinavia and Germany. It is obvious the bike has been cared well for over the years as it is in very good condition. It could be passed as a restoration done 1 year ago. An example: the Pegusa rubber seat has had a cover fitted since restoration and is without any cracks, it looks like new.
Big capacity “Schorsch-Meier” petrol tank fitted.
The bike starts in the second or third kick and sets into iddle instantly. The gears select freely and accurately. Electrics are all functioning.

An original deeply valanced mudguard, painted/ lined and ready to fit and a twin seat is coming with the bike. There is also a modern, solid touring case included which attaches to the rear rack.
The BMW is registered on EU registration documents.
